Video: El programa FORGE sobre EGS y el proyecto de geotermia de Newberry

Este video habla sobre los sistemas EGS, los esfuerzos de investigación del FORGE y el ejemplo del proyecto de geotermia de Newberry.

 

Uno de los principales problemas que tiene la geotermia es que sólo está disponible en lugares que tienen predisposición a una alta actividad geotérmica y tiene recursos hidrotermales aptos para su explotación.

Aquí les dejamos un corto pero excelente vídeo que ha publicado el blog del GRC sobre los sistemas EGS y como esta rama de la geotermia planea hacer viable que la energía geotérmica sea una realidad para muchos más lugares en el planeta.

Se puede ver la labor del FORGE por parte del US DOE y como intentan que la tecnología sea más barata y accesible.

Se pueden ver también excelentes tomas del proyecto EGS de Newberry en EEUU.
