Una sesión especial se realizará en la Reunión Anual del GRC, Palm Springs, California, donde se presentará un resumen del Informe GeoVision de la Oficina de Tecnologías Geotérmicas del Departamento de Energía de U.S.
Se realizará una presentación del Informe GeoVision Report de la Oficina de Tecnologías Geotérmicas durante la próxima Reunión Anual GRC Annual Meeting & Expo, que se realizará en Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs, California.

El informe, GeoVision: Harnessing the Heat Beneath Our Feet, resume las conclusiones, donde la generación de electricidad geotérmica puede aumentar más 26 veces respecto hoy, llegando a alcanzar 60 GW de capacidad instalada para el año 2050. Adicionalmente a la descripción de las oportunidades de generación de electricidad, GeoVision analiza la oportunidad de la geotermia en procesos de calefacción y enfriamiento para el sector residencial y comercial en U.S. hasta la utilización de tecnologías de bombas de calor para uso directo.
